SHOICHI MIYAZONO

Shoichi, a 2023 graduate of Keio University’s Pearl Programme, was born in Mexico and raised there for most of his childhood. He then moved to Taiwan upon completing Middle school and continued his studies there at an American School. Having picked up Japanese, English, Spanish, and Mandarin at an early age, the global environment he was raised in also led to a sense of curiosity toward other cultures and open mindedness. Throughout high school, he volunteered, led, and eventually organized camps for elementary school children. Upon graduation, he moved to Japan to begin his study in economics, all the while teaching at a preschool and tutoring children part-time, with his main focus being English. Shoichi looks forward to utilizing the valuable lessons he has learned through his experiences and applying them to his ability as a teaching assistant at the Global Leadership Program.
