STUDENT BODY
Each group will be mixed with students of different age level and there may be small number of students who may be participating from abroad through on-line. Depending, students may be switched to different groups during the session to maximize their opportunity in meeting other students from other schools and nations. This program is catered towards the students who are especially interested in attending universities abroad or eventually work for a foreign company and in a foreign country.
PROGRAM OUTCOME
The program aims to develop student’s awareness in this global society by discussing on themes pertaining to daily issues. Through such discussions, students will develop their critical thinking, establish debating structures during discussions, learn by “listening” to other peer students, practice public speaking to increase confidence and inter-group activity, learn to work in a team-oriented environment, and increase their oral discussion methodology. For this particular program the student will attend in person all of the classes and participate fully throughout it as the teaching material will be intensive and robust.
TEACHERS
The teacher will be composed of business professionals (graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy) and prominent educators from Japan. Teaching assistants who have graduated from US secondary schools will also take care of the students.
