A Cultural Visit to Japan, Spring 2024

Location: Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Nara , Hiroshima, Himeji, etc.

Tuition:
5,500 USD (including accommodation, food, ground transportation, activities), Airfare will be separate.
Deposit: 500 USD (nonrefundable)

Note: Deposit to be paid by December 8th, 2023. The remaining tuition to be paid by January 10th.
In case the deposit is paid by December 8th, 2023, tuition will be reduced to 5250 USD.


Program Summary

Cultural Leadership Experience in Japan - Through this program, students will engage with a Japanese culture that is different from their own. They will visit historical sites such as Kyoto and Hiroshima, and experience unique Japanese culture such as Akihabara, Shibuya in Tokyo.There is also a weekend exchange program with Japanese students of the same age, which is a wonderful opportunity to meet lifelong friends.
By learning about Japan's historical background and culture, and meeting people from that country, students will learn the mutual understanding necessary for global leadership.

3/3-3/8 Stay in Kyoto
3/9-3/12 Stay in Tokyo
3/13 Leave Tokyo and arrive in JFK, NY

TEACHERS

Teachers from Eaglebrook School, one of the top boarding schools in the United States, will come to Japan for this camp.

PROGRAM goals

The program aims to provide opportunities for students to learn about Japan and its culture. Students will be visiting key historical and cultural sites of Japan combined with opportunities to meet students locally in Japan. This will provide a global experience for students, raising awareness about countries outside the US.
